Evidence of the filth!
Solomon, the neighbour’s dog. He likes to just sit with his head poking through the fence, watching us go about our lives…
The time has come again… back into the humid hectic fishbowl that is Sydney, and coincidentally back to my pet fish who desperately needs his tank cleaned (the fishbowl scum has spawned its own micro-organism world!) Ick. Let’s see if he can survive another year at college - he turns 3 in a month!
In other news I went to see the osteo today and it seems that my posture was so badly crushed inwards that it is now actually hurting my muscles to maintain a proper posture. Fun times!
Goodbye Melbourne, I shall miss you, I think!
The first photo is of a scary spider that I had to walk past (reeeally closely) on the “rainforest” path in the botanic gardens, because the path was very narrow and surrounded by rainforest. It was so scary looking and fangy that I had to stop for a minute to gather my composure and the courage to pass it. Fortunately nobody else was around. Sydney is full of large spiders, but if you keep to the paths I think you’re mostly ok.
The second photo is fairly self explanatory, and the last is of the many (20000+) flying foxes that camp out in the trees, squawking and pooping berries on your head.
It was actually a fun visit to the botanic gardens and I highly recommend that you go!
Monday is “cheap mondays” at the kino ($7 tickets!)
Black swan is just as awesome the second time
If it’s probably going to be cold, bring a coat (in melbourne anyway)
And other things but I’m quickly realising they are too mundane to be posting here… ALLEY teach me how to use tumblr!
